The 4th of July

Last weekend we went to Starvation Reservoir for the 4th. We had a great crowd and a great time. Carson, Drew and Tanner all got up on a beginner water ski. I can't say all of them were completely willing, but they did it. Tanner stayed up quite a bit longer than Carson did on his first try, so Carson decided he better try again rather than be out done by his two-year old brother. Uncle Jim and Aunt Charlotte came up for the day on Saturday and it was great to see them.

The Blog Begins

Well, Nina has been telling me that I really need to start a blog, so this is my first attempt. Everything is going well around here.

Drew graduated from preschool, but he will be going again next year along with his little brother Tanner. They are both really excited and I don't know what I am going to do with myself. I will have 6 hours a week all to myself!!

We had Kellie's wedding here on the 21st of June. It was a lot more work than I ever realized it would be. It was really fun, but I have to say I'm glad that it is done. I haven't pulled a weed since.

We have been down to the sand-dunes a couple times and we took a really nice trip to lake powell. The weather was great and it was relaxing, except that the water was rising so much every day that we had to move our camp several times. Lake Powell is so beautiful. It really is my favorite vacation.

Carson graduated from Kindergarten at the beginning of July. For his program, he chose his favorite outfit to wear to school that day. He chose his Fox Racing motorcycle outfit. It was a really great year. He is looking forward to first grade. He starts back at the end of July.
